So, it’s been a week since a real post, and I’ve got a bunch of new reviews still to write. A trip to Philly slowed me down a bit, but also yielded a few destinations worth writing about. (I’ll apologize in advance for all the lack of real-time Twittering I’ll be doing as food is actually travelling down my throat. On the upside, I hope you’ll find that my brain will actually semi-process the events that I write about.)
So, here’s what’s on the way:
- A dinner at the James Beard House with one of the best dishes I’ve ever been served there, along with a first-ever (that I’ve seen) standing ovation for the chef.
- Dinner at Amada (Philly)

- Lunch (with beer, of course) at Monk’s
